Sublimation paper stuck in the printer will affect the normal use of the printer. Here are some ways to remove the stuck sublimation paper:

Ordinary Printer

1. Open the printer cover: Turn off the printer power first, wait for a while, let the internal parts of the printer stop running, and cool down. Find the switch of the cover or paper box door on the printer, and open the corresponding cover to expose the location of the paper jam. The cover position and opening method may be different for different models of printers. You can refer to the user manual of the printer for operation.

2. Gently remove the paper: After opening the cover, observe the location and situation of the sublimation paper jam. If the paper is exposed more, you can gently grab the edge of the paper and pull it out slowly and steadily along the paper output direction of the printer. Be careful not to use too much force to avoid tearing the paper or damaging the internal parts of the printer. If the paper is stuck tightly, you can try to gently turn the roller inside the printer to help loosen the paper before removing it.

3. Check the paper feed channel: After removing the jammed sublimation paper, carefully check whether there are any residual paper fragments or other foreign objects in the paper feed channel. You can use a flashlight to illuminate the paper feed channel for a clearer observation. If you find any debris, use tools such as tweezers or a small brush to carefully remove it and ensure that the paper feed path is clean and unobstructed.

4. Close the cover and restart the printer: After confirming that there is no residual paper and foreign matter in the paper feed path, close the printer cover and make sure that the cover is closed firmly. Then turn on the printer power, wait for the printer self-test to complete, and check whether the printer has resumed normal operation.

All-in-one Printer

1. Stop the print task and turn off the power: Once you find that the sublimation paper is stuck, cancel the ongoing print task on the computer immediately, and then turn off the power of the MFP. Wait for a while to let the moving parts inside the device stop completely.

2. Open related parts: Depending on the model of the MFP, open the paper tray, toner door, or other parts that may be related to the paper jam. Some devices may need to open multiple parts to find the jammed paper. For example, some models require opening the front paper tray door first, and then opening the side paper feed channel cover.

3. Remove the jammed paper: After finding the sublimation paper, carefully pull it out in the direction it is stuck. If the paper is stuck in multiple places, you need to gently pull the paper from different openings step by step, while paying attention to avoid pulling the paper apart. For a paper stuck between the rollers, you can try to gently turn the rollers with your fingers to loosen the paper before removing it.

4. Clean and check: After removing the jammed paper, carefully clean the paper fibers or dust that may remain on the paper feed channel and related parts. You can use a clean, soft cloth to wipe the rollers and sensors to ensure that they are clean and free of debris. Check whether there is any damage or deformation in the paper feed path. If you find any problems, you should contact professional maintenance personnel in time for processing.

5. Restore the device to its original state and test: Close and install all open parts in the correct way to ensure that each part is installed in place. Turn on the power of the multifunction machine, wait for the device to initialize, and perform a test print to check whether the printer can feed and print normally to ensure that the problem has been completely resolved.

If you encounter difficulties in removing the jammed sublimation paper, or the printer still does not work properly after removing the paper, it is recommended to contact the printer's manufacturer's customer service or professional maintenance personnel for help to avoid further damage to the printer due to improper operation.
