Sublimation protective paper is a specialized paper designed to safeguard heat transfer prints during the pressing process. It acts as a protective barrier between the heat press and the transfer material, preventing scorching, sticking, or uneven heat distribution. Our 18gsm pure pulp protection paper is used in the dye-sublimation heat transfer process to protect both the heat press machine and the substrate (e.g., fabric, ceramics) during printing. The high-density components of sublimation protective paper provide the highest yield and strongest barrier protection. Our pure pulp protective paper for calender and continuous sublimation with high ink designs.

Material: Typically made from 100% pure wood pulp, ensuring high absorbency, heat resistance, and durability.
Function: Placed between the sublimation transfer paper and the heat press or substrate to prevent ink residue from sticking to the machine's heated plate. This protects the press from staining and maintains consistent print quality over time.

Key Uses of Pure Pulp Protection Paper
Heat Press Protection
Shields the heat press from ink bleed-through, reducing cleanup efforts and extending the machine's lifespan.
Reusable in most cases, making it cost-effective.
Substrate Protection
Prevents ink from transferring to unintended areas of the substrate, ensuring sharp, vibrant prints.
Ideal for delicate materials like polyester fabrics or coated surfaces (e.g., mugs, phone cases).
Process Optimization
Improves ink absorption and transfer efficiency, minimizing waste and enhancing color retention.
Advantages of Sublimation Protective Paper
High Heat Resistance
Withstands temperatures up to 230°C during the sublimation process.
Reusability & Eco-Friendliness
Often recyclable and can be used multiple times before replacement.
Versatility
Available in various weights (e.g., 18gsm, 30gsm) and sizes to suit different heat presses and substrates.
Example Applications
* Clothing and Textiles: Sportswear, swimsuits, fashion printing, achieve high breathability and soft touch.
* Home Decoration: Curtains, sofa fabrics, wall cloth transfers, long-lasting and bright colors.
* Soft Signage: Flags, car stickers, promotional items, quick response to commercial customization needs.

Handling
Operator staff should wear work uniforms & smash-proof shoes during load/unloading, all rolls
over 60cm in length or 20 kg weight should be handled by 2 operators for safety purposes. Keep away from fire sources, and heat sources, no smoking in the workplace, and also away from water sources to prevent the effect of dampness.
Storage
Stored in a cool, ventilation warehouse. Away from fire, heat source, oxidant, and acid stocking area. Equipped with the appropriate variety and quantity of fire equipment.

How to Use Pure Pulp Protection Paper
* Positioning: Place the protective paper between the printed sublimation transfer paper and the heat press platen (or directly on top of the substrate).
* Heat Press Settings: Follow standard sublimation guidelines (temperature, time, pressure) based on your material.
When to Use Pure Pulp Protection Paper
* For Professional Results: Ensures consistent, high-quality prints without smudging or machine damage.
* With Dark or Sensitive Substrates: Prevents ink from seeping into porous materials or causing discoloration.
* High-Volume Production: Reduces downtime for cleaning and maintains workflow efficiency.
By incorporating pure pulp sublimation protective paper into your workflow, you can achieve cleaner, more reliable transfers while prolonging the life of your equipment. Always test with your specific materials and heat press settings for optimal results.
